Anachronism blends ancient and present-day art by creating a new world that welcomes chronological inconsistency. As we look to the past and long for a “simpler” time, we often forget the trials and tribulations of humankind’s personal and collective experiences. Art from early centuries remains the centerfold of many artistic creations and inspiration. However, stories of marginalized individuals and communities were lost and never shared with the world. Anachronism is a rebirth of these periods by creating art that rebels against tradition and customs, opening up a space where everyone’s stories are told.
As editors-in-chief, we devoted ourselves to building a flourishing magazine and community for everyone to freely express themselves and create. We oversaw 45+ executive team members and 100+ committee members in the collaboration and production of Anachronism, including editorial content, photography, styling, graphic design, advertising, public relations, and finance.
