“Femme on Film” celebrates the beauty, power, and sensuality that comes with defying society's expectations and projections of what those who align with the femme identity should look like.
As the director and stylist of this photoshoot, I created the concept, styled the models’ clothing, accessories, and makeup, selected the patterns, textures, and colors used in the background of the photos, and directed the posing for the models. The use of fluid and abstract patterns were a nod to my perspective as a graphic designer, and the use of lace, faux leather, and black, white, and red clothing aligned with the striking, sensual concept.
